LEAD

LEAD creates opportunities for people to develop leadership and employment skills through small grants, career development workshops and trainings, and youth lead advocacy efforts. Participants in the LEAD program have started their own small businesses, recorded original music, created and displayed their artwork, facilitated trainings at state-wide events, participated in workshops with a local theater company and conducted focus groups with their peers in order to create change in the mental health system. The LEAD program includes Career Explorations, The Western Mass Youth Council, and the Career Initiatives programs.
